Buyer protection
Your money is held by the platform, and the seller is paid only after the work is delivered and the order is complete. That isn't a promise: it's how the system is built.
1. You pay
The money doesn't go straight to the seller. pretendmind holds it.
2. The seller works
There's a delivery deadline, and a late delivery affects the seller's rating.
3. You check the work
The order is complete only when you accept the delivery (or, if you asked for a revision, once it's fixed).
4. Then the seller is paid
Even after the order is complete, the money reaches the seller only once a clearance period has passed.
If something goes wrong, step by step
- Tell the seller first: write the problem in the order page's messages; most of the time one revision fixes it.
- If that doesn't fix it, open a dispute: right from the order page; write what you asked for and what you got.
- Our team looks at both sides: every message and delivery file of the order stays on the platform, so there's no arguing over proof.
- The decision: a refund, a partial solution or accepting the delivery, whichever is fair.
When do you get a refund?
- If you don't receive the delivery, or the work doesn't match its description, open a dispute from the order page; our team reviews it and decides.
- If a refund is approved, the money comes back to your payment method (bKash/card) within 1 to 7 working days.
- For courses: you can get a refund within the course's refund window, as long as you've watched only a limited part of it.

How are payments verified?
- Payments go through bKash and SSLCommerz (card/mobile banking), both licensed payment gateways in Bangladesh.
- Your order starts only after each payment is verified server-side with the gateway. A fake payment can't open an order.
- Prices are calculated on the server too. No one can change the price at checkout.
Your information is protected too
- All communication about an order happens on the platform. Your phone and email are not shown to the seller, and phone numbers or addresses shared in messages are blocked automatically.
- Reviews come only from verified buyers.
- Delivery files are kept in private storage, and only you can download them.
Fair to sellers too
- Because delivery and all communication stay on the platform, the seller's proof of work is kept for a dispute too.
- Project bidding is double-blind: no one can see another bid and undercut it.
- Earnings can be withdrawn once the order is complete and the clearance period has passed. The rules are the same for everyone.
