Terms

1. What you get

You send a photo and a few details. We make a free preview — the first pages, stickers or version, marked as a preview — and send you a private link to it. If you want the rest, you pay, and we deliver the full set as digital files on the same private page. Each product page says exactly what is in the full set.

2. Price and payment

The price is shown on the product page, in Bangladeshi taka (BDT), before you send anything. You pay only after you have seen the preview. The ways to pay are shown on your private page; from outside Bangladesh, you pay by an arrangement we make with you by email or message.

3. Delivery

The delivery time is the one shown on the product page when you order (standard, or express where it is offered). It counts from when your payment reaches us.

4. How it is made

The artwork is made with AI tools and checked by a person before it reaches you. It is drawn from your photo, so it keeps the person's features, but it is an illustration, not a copy of the photograph. That is why you see the preview first.

5. Your photos: what you promise us

When you send us a photo, you confirm that:

• you took it, or you otherwise have the right to use it;
• every living adult in it has agreed to your using it this way;
• for a child, you are their parent or guardian, or have their parent's or guardian's permission;
• for someone who has died, you are family, or have the family's permission.

6. What we do not make

We may refuse or cancel any request. We do not make:

• celebrities, politicians or other public figures;
• characters, brands or logos that belong to someone else;
• nudity or sexual content of anyone, and anything involving a child other than wholesome, child-appropriate scenes;
• anything that shows a real person in a false, embarrassing or harmful situation, or that could be used to deceive, bully or harass;
• hateful or violent content.

If we refuse or cancel an order you have already paid for, you get a full refund.

7. Using what we make

Once you have paid, the files are yours to keep, print and share for personal use and as gifts — and, for a team poster, within your organisation. Please ask us before using them to sell or advertise anything. We will not use your photos or artwork in our own marketing without your written permission.

8. Cancellations and refunds

If you live in the European Union or the UK, you have a 14-day right to cancel. When you pay, a required box on the payment panel asks you to confirm that you want us to start straight away and that you understand this right ends once the full files are delivered to you; the email confirming your payment repeats it.

9. Client projects and services (marketplace)

The sections from here to Disputes cover the client marketplace: you post a project brief or order a listed service in English, approved freelancers in Bangladesh quote on it, you accept a quote, an order and an invoice are created, and the work is delivered in an order room on the platform.

The marketplace is built for business clients: the services are supplied to you for your business, and these sections are written for that use. If you buy as a consumer, nothing in them takes away rights that consumer law gives you and that we cannot exclude.

Briefs, quotes and messages may be written in Bengali or English. Where the site shows an AI translation, it is labelled as one, and the original wording is what counts: the original text, not the translation, is what the two sides agreed to.

10. Paying by invoice

Accepting a quote creates an order and an invoice. The invoice number is the order code, and the invoice shows its own due date, counted from the day it is issued. You pay by bank transfer, Payoneer or Wise, using the details printed on the invoice, and you quote the invoice number in the payment reference.

Amounts are in Bangladeshi taka (BDT), the currency of record. Where the invoice shows a figure in another currency, it is approximate; the amount payable is the BDT amount, and your bank or payment service converts at its own rate.

An invoice is marked paid when the money reaches us and a person on our team confirms it; we email you when that happens. Work starts, and the freelancer's identity is shown to you, once the payment is confirmed. Until then nothing is owed on a quote you have not accepted, and a cancelled invoice is payable by nobody.

What you pay is held by pretendmind. It is released to the freelancer when you approve the delivery or, where your order page shows an automatic approval period, when that period ends without a response from you.

11. Who owns the work

Until the invoice for an order has been paid in full, the work and everything made for it belong to the freelancer who made it, or to us. Once the order has been paid in full and the work has been delivered to you, the intellectual property in the deliverables made for you passes to you.

Two carve-outs: third-party libraries, templates and reusable components stay under their own licences or with their owners, and anything you supplied — your content, logos and brand material — was always yours; by supplying it you give us and the freelancer permission to use it only to do the work.

12. Your materials and confidentiality

What you put in a brief, an order room or an attachment is used only to deliver the work and to run the platform. It is shared with the freelancer working on it and with our team, and messages and files stay on the platform so that a dispute has a record to go on. We do not publish your briefs or files, and our privacy notice explains what we do with your information.

13. Delivery, revisions and acceptance

The work is delivered in the order room. If something is not right, ask for a revision from the order page, saying what is wrong — a revision request needs a note, so the freelancer has something to act on.

For an order on a listed service, the package you bought states how many revisions are included, and the order page enforces that number. For a project order, revisions are what you and the freelancer agreed in the quote; the order page does not enforce a fixed number.

Accepting the delivery completes the order and releases the money to the freelancer. Where your order page shows an automatic approval period, the order also completes when that period ends without a response from you.

14. Disputes

Talk to the freelancer in the order room first: most problems are a revision, not a dispute, and both sides are expected to try in good faith. If that does not settle it, open a dispute from the order page. Our team reads both sides, with the messages and files on record, and decides on a refund, a partial resolution or acceptance. An approved refund is returned by hand to the account you paid from.

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, as the section on law below says. For larger engagements, the parties can agree different or additional dispute-resolution terms — including arbitration — in a separate contract for that engagement; nothing here imposes one.

15. VAT and tax

The supplier of every order here is established in Bangladesh, outside the EU and the UK. For a business client in the EU or the UK, the invoice therefore carries the statements it prints: “Reverse charge — VAT to be accounted for by the recipient.” and “The supplier is established in Bangladesh, outside the EU and the UK.” — you account for VAT in your own country under the reverse charge, and no VAT is added to the invoice.

US business clients who need a Form W-8BEN-E for their records can ask for one: email learningbangladesh71@gmail.com and we prepare it for you. Beyond what the invoice states, you are responsible for the taxes that apply to you in your own country.

16. Our responsibility

We are responsible for loss you suffer that was a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms. Otherwise, our responsibility for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits anything the law does not allow us to limit, including your legal rights as a consumer.

17. Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. If you live in the European Union or the UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
